Aesthetics Dentistry
Aesthetic dentistry aims to achieve the perfect smile. In this direction, the patient's mouth structure, the position of the lips, the shape of the teeth and gums are in the pre-plan. All intraoral and extraoral structures of patient are examined, and the most suitable design for the face shape and character is specified in line with the patient's desire. Among the leading applications in aesthetic dentistry are composite restorations, laminate veneers, zirconium veneers, full porcelain (empress) veneers.
Smile Design: First of all, intraoral and facial photographs of the patient are taken from various angles. An intraoral measurement is taken to be transmit to the 3D model. The photographs taken are transmit to the computer and a new smile is designed digitally for the patient by examining the patient's teeth and facial structures together by means of special programs. Digitally prepared design is transferred to the 3D model obtained with the intraoral measurement prior taken from the patient. By way of this model, the dentist contact with the laboratory and clarifies how much abrasion will be done on which teeth, the applicability of veneer to which tooth, the application of laminate to which tooth, the limits of pink aesthetics, and the necessity of a tooth structure. A plate is made on the newly designed model and with the help of that plate, it is temporarily placed in the patient's mouth. Temporary is the prototype of the teeth to be made in the mouth in 3D.
Porcelain Laminate Teeth: It is made by roughening just front surfaces of the teeth by 0.3-0.5 mm from the enamel layer, without cutting all the surfaces of the teeth.
Zirconium Veneers: Zirconium Veneers: Zirconium is used instead of other metal applications in dental veneer applications, allows us to achieve perfect aesthetics because of it is extremely durable and very close to the natural tooth thanks to its light transmittance.
Full Porcelain (Empress) Coatings: It is porcelain with increased durability, obtained by firing glass ceramic on a crystalline ceramic core compressed under pressure. It is made entirely of ceramic. The absence of metal infrastructure and full ceramic content imitates the transparency, light reflection and transmission properties of natural teeth. The compatibility of the adhesives with the empress and tooth tissue, the chameleon effect of the materials provides the desired ideal color and transparency. All the characteristic features of your natural teeth can be transferred to empress dental veneers. Thus, natural dental aesthetics is achieved. Empress dental veneers are made for anterior incisors, premolars and single tooth deficiencies in this region, where aesthetics gains importance. Empress dental veneers are not preferred for molars in the posterior region where chewing forces and lateral forces increase, and for anterior region restorations where there is more than one missing tooth side by side. In these cases, aesthetic and higher resistance zirconium dental crowns are the first choice.
